Peter Savio

Peter B. Savio is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Savio Group of Companies including Hawaiian Island Homes Ltd. and Hawaiian Island Development Co., Inc.

Peter has more than 30 years experience in real estate development and sales in the Hawaii market. Beginning in 1980, Peter founded Savio Realty, Ltd. and subsequently its affiliated group of companies.

Peter has a good understanding of real estate and the Hawaii market in particular. Peter has helped his clients realize the maximum return on their real estate investments.

Peter was born in Hilo, Hawaii and raised in Honolulu. Peter received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Real Estate from the University of Hawaii.

Barry Kaplan

Barry Kaplan is responsible for Hawaiian Island Homes Ltd.'s Project Brokerage Division.

Barry has more than 25 years of real estate sales, development, and property management experience.

Barry has been in charge of marketing and selling over 1,500 condominium conversion units, new home sales and land subdivisions. Prior to joining Hawaiian Island Homes Ltd., Barry was the President and owner of Prime Properties, Inc., Broker-In-Charge of Gentry Realty, Ltd. and was the Realtor and New Projects Manager with Property Resources, Inc.

Barry received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Rider University in Trenton, New Jersey.

Derrick Fujisaki

Derrick Fujisaki joined the Savio Group of Companies in 1985 as a sales agent. He has held numerous management positions with the company including Broker-In-Charge.

Derrick's real estate experience has been in the areas of general brokerage sales, commercial property sales, project sales, leased fee conversions, and office space leasing.

Prior to joining the Savio Group of Companies, Derrick was an accountant with Hawaiian Telephone Company. Derrick was also a loan officer at Hawaii Thrift and Loan (currently First Hawaiian Bank).

Derrick graduated Cum Laude with Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He also received his MBA in Finance with a concentration in Marketing from Wharton Graduate Division, University of Pennsylvania.
