• Born and raised on the Leeward Coast of O’ahu.
• Education: St. Andrew’s Priory (through 8th grade); University Lab School (graduated 1984); University of Hawai’i, BA-English / Minor: Psychology; Lincoln Graduate School, appraisal courses (completed)
• Ongoing studies: acting, voice, dance. Member of local writers’ group.
• Previous work experience: lived, worked and attended school in Japan. Tutored college-level English and worked as an office manager at the Legislature of the State of Hawai’i.
• Loves working with people and possesses great interpersonal relations skills.
• Proficient in speaking/understanding the Hawaiian Language.
• Single mother of a wonderful teenaged son who keeps her busy but also keeps her smiling!
• Outside Interests/Hobbies: acting/singing in local community theatres, concerts, museums, theatre productions, surfing, reading and writing. Loves to travel and experience new cultures.
